2008 Arizona Space Grant Symposium Information

The 2008 Symposium will be held April 18-19 in Tucson, AZ.

Program Highlights

Provides research opportunities for Full-time NAU undergraduate students
** You must be a U.S. Citizen**

Students earn $8.50/hour for up to 10 hrs per week for the academic year (300 hr. maximum)

Monthly meetings for support & feedback

Learn how to conduct meaningful research with the help of a Mentor
(If you do not have a Mentor, please speak to your Advisor or contact us for assistance)

Present findings at annual April symposium (to be held in Tucson or Tempe)

How to Apply

The application process begins January.

Find a Mentor to work with on the research area of your choice
It is desired that the research further NASA's mission in some way.

Complete our online application for Students & Mentors

Applications are automatically submitted online or if you prefer you can mail to address below

Submit your application  (with your Mentors) to the Space Grant office/site

Applications will be reviewed by our Steering Committee

Notification of acceptance is mailed out by early May.
